Packaging Designs

Due to an exciting new project, this month has been rather packaging focused for us at 22 Create. And it got us thinking, how many people know that this is a service that we offer?

Take for example when we created a new look for Bluebell Dairy with unique designs for each flavour tub to bring their ice-cream to market.

Creating eye-catching packaging that represents the product and business, stands out on crowded shelves and doesn’t cost a fortune to produce is a challenge which we love to take on.

In this post, we’ve put together some of our standout inspiration:

1/ Packaging needs to connect the customer to what is inside and move them to act on whether they want or need it. This packaging for canned fish for Socilink does this wonderfully, conjuring images of life in Portuguese fishing villages, bringing a taste of coastal getaways and simpler ways of living to the customer.

2/ Introducing new ways of doing things with old forms of packaging can make the difference you need. A simple Belly Band for Haenowitz & Page coffee give extra real estate to create impact with some bold typography and some colour for each of their products on these standard coffee bags.

3/ Sometimes the best packaging is no packaging at all. Lush products such as soaps and bath bombs typically, don’t need packaging – this means their smell/feel/colour bring the visual appeal, and their range of “Naked Shower Gels” goes a step further – taking a product and removing its need for packaging.
